ESG & EHS · ESG and EHS management software

ESG and EHS figures, recorded with evidence and reviewed before they count

The figures your ESG and EHS work is measured by — what each one is, how it is worked out, where it is collected and which frameworks ask for it — started from an AI Pazz template and changed as your organization needs.

What ESG & EHS does

Indicators

  • About forty indicators to start from: energy, Scope 1 and 2 emissions, water, waste, workforce, diversity, training, lost-time and recordable injuries, LTIFR, TRIFR and governance
  • Each with its unit, how often it is collected, how its periods and sites add up, and its GRI or ESRS reference
  • Each indicator says how its figure comes about: entered with evidence, worked out from other indicators (LTIFR, renewable share), from activity data and an emission factor, or counted from incidents
  • Your own indicators beside the template's, with your own attributes; choose which ones you track

Recording

  • A reporting year opened once: every tracked indicator gets its places and periods, each with a data owner and a reviewer
  • Figures entered in any unit of their kind — MWh or kWh, litres or m³ — and stored in one, with evidence attached as a file or a link
  • Every figure reviewed by someone other than the person who entered it; returned with a note, or approved
  • Months closed when they are done: approved figures locked, anything missing listed first, and a locked figure changed only by a restatement with its reason

Your copy of the template

  • Started from the AI Pazz template, or from nothing, and yours to change
  • Emission factors with their source named — including the standard IPCC defaults for fuels — and your own grid factors per country
  • Incident types, a severity scale and root causes, ready for the incident register
  • When AI Pazz publishes additions, pull in the ones you want; nothing you changed is overwritten

Where figures come from

  • Sites — offices, plants, warehouses — kept in the Organization module with their country and unit
  • Indicators collected at the organization, at named units, or at every site
  • Values of different units never added together: every figure has its dimension and unit

ESG & EHS: questions and answers

How are ESG figures checked before they are reported?
Each figure is entered by its data owner with evidence — a bill, a report, a link — and reviewed by someone else, who approves it or returns it with a note. Nobody approves a figure they entered. When a month is closed, approved figures are locked; changing one afterwards is a restatement with a reason, and the original is kept.
Which ESG frameworks do the indicators follow?
The starter indicators carry references to the GRI Standards and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), and the emissions indicators to the GHG Protocol scopes and IFRS S2. The references are disclosure codes, so you can see which requirement each figure answers; you can add or change them for any framework you report against.
Can we add our own indicators?
Yes. Add an indicator with its own unit, method and frequency beside the ones from the template, change any indicator's definition, and add your own custom attributes. An indicator figures have been recorded against keeps its unit and method and is retired rather than removed.
How are emissions calculated?
An emissions indicator is defined as activity data — electricity or fuel used — multiplied by an emission factor, chosen by group and by the country a site is in where grid factors differ. The template includes IPCC default factors for common fuels with their source named; grid electricity factors are set by you from your national factor or your supplier.

Business process catalogue and organization modelling software

Organization

Model the organization: its units, who leads each, and the processes, services and capabilities each one runs — with an owner for every one.

  • Units of every kind — CEO office, division, business unit, department, team, function — nested in whatever order your organization really runs
  • What the organization does, placed under the unit that does it — capabilities holding the processes that deliver them, and the services it provides
  • The organization and every unit seen whole: who leads it, who is in it, what it runs

Issue and remediation tracking software

Issue & Remediation

Log what is wrong — gaps, findings, incidents — assign it to whoever has to put it right, and see it closed with evidence and a second pair of eyes.

  • Anyone can open a register and run it: its own severities with target days, categories, custom attributes and visibility
  • A due date from the severity, moved only with a reason that is logged
  • A ladder per register: overdue by so many days, escalate to the administrator, the Module Admins or a named person — worked out live, never stale

Risk management software

Risk Tracking

Risk registers at every level of the organization: score risks, treat them, evidence their closure, and raise the ones the board should see.

  • As many registers as your organization needs, each run by its own administrator
  • Risks at organization, unit or individual level, each with an owner
  • Optional approval before a risk closes — by the register’s administrator or someone you name
